Every 3.6 seconds someone dies of malnutrition or starvation. The EndHunger 3.6 project is a community event in which Rotarians, with the help of community volunteers, package and distribute nutritious, non-GMO, non-perishable, ready-to-cook meals to feed the hungry in our local communities.
A great program that strives to remove stigmas associated with addition and mental health issues. In the forefront is the Rotary Club of Mental Health Advocates, working throughout the District to raise awareness and provide valuable information to clubs and communities.
For ten years, the Foundation has helped Rotary Clubs and associated outside organizations raise nearly $440,000 for charitable endeavors. Prizes are all cash!
Multiple Rotary Clubs participate in this project that provides clothing, bedding, and other items needed by homeless veterans and those placed in transitional living quarters at the Lyons VA Hospital site. The clubs raise funds and donate them to our Foundation, and we pay the invoices they receive for winter coats, sweatsuits, toiletries, duffle bags, hats, gloves and other items valued by the veterans.
